Dozens of heavily armed police officers descended Sunday night on the baseball stadium parking lot that had been serving as a staging area for the protesters in the downtown core.
Police removed vehicles and a fuel tanker that was parked at the Coventry Road lot.
Meanwhile, Ottawa police announced that they had arrested two people at the site, and some other arrests in the city that were linked to the protests.
About 10 protesters in reflective vests stood steady in front of fuel supplies that were stored toward the southern end of the lot.
There were Snipers who stood guard on the roof of the stadium and hotel on either side of the parking lot as police moved through the camp.
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson later stated that the tanker that was removed was filled with about 3,500 litres of fuel and may cause dangerous to people around there.
